Yesterday I went to Arnold's Arboretum with a bunch of friends. The place is absolutely beautiful and it has some terribly exquisite flora. Another point worth noting is the sheer size of the arboretum; it's enormous (~2mi x ~.5mi). The arboretum houses the Larz Anderson Bonsai Collection, which is probably the single most moving thing that I have ever seen. I highly recommend a visit to the arboretum for anyone.
The Riddle - not pr0n is really hard.
I have just finished the last of the work that I need to do at MIT. In a few hours, I will go to campus print out a few things, hand in a few things, go to a few classes and then be all done.
Also, I decided that I might as well pull an all-nighter because it would be my last chance to justifiably do so at MIT.

For the past week, I've been courting a sleep research study as a means of entertaining myself and making some easy money. The plan was to take part in a 32 day in patient study shortly after graduation and walk away with a cool $6k. Unfortunately, it turns out my current sleep schedule is too erratic to make me an acceptable participant in their study. All I have to say about that is, shucks.
As one of the last things that I have to do this week (in order to graduate), I have to write a 15+ page paper on the subject of Inorganic and Organometallic Polyers. I know enough about Inorganic and Organometallic Polymers to fill, at most, two or three pages. The only time that I'm going to have to write this paper is the next 28 hours. So as to be able to accomplish this task, I have obtained the following requisite supplies:
- 1x Ray, N. H. - Inorganic Polymers
- 1x Mark, James E.; et al. - Inorganic Polymers
- 1x Archer, Ronald D. - Inorganic and Organometallic Polymers
- 1x 2 liter bottle Mountain Dew
- 1x 23.5 fluid ounce can Jolt Cola
- 1x 23.5 fluid ounce can Jolt Blue
- 4x 6.5 ounce Shur Fine Sausage Pizza
- 1x 17 ounce box Cracklin' Oat Bran
- 1x 18 ounce container Duncan Hines Whipped Vanilla Frosting
- 1x 1 gallon bottle Hood 2% Milk
I didn't happen to meet any time travelers but I did hear some interesting talks on the matter and I got to see a DeLorean. If any time travelers were looking for me, you'll have to try to find another way to meet me. Aside from that, I really want a DeLorean.
I'm going to go attend The Time Traveler Convention now. If any of y'all in the future want to meet me, this would be a great time to do so, otherwise I'm sure I'll see some people that I know from the present.
So I've been futzing with my server a bunch today (because I don't want to write papers) and I've accomplished a few things. I've got a mailserver working (thats new for me). I've got my adminstration pages protected by SSL (also new). That's the server work side of things.
On another front, I've decided to deprecate gwax's sitings in favor of gwax's wanderings. This is because I want somewhere that I can shove photos from my phone and I want it to have an e-mail based posting system. I will allow comments as soon as I can figure out a good way to prevent comment spam (which I expect will involve my modifyinig the WordPress bot-check plugin to work in EasyMoblog).
